What you'll do

  • Lead complex software-defined subsystem analysis to define functional controls and software requirements.
  • Establish test cases and acceptance criteria for normal and degraded states of applicable sub-systems.
  • Create and maintain Sub-System Technical Specification (SSTS) and Behavioral Test Specifications (BTS) documents.
  • Collaborate with Controls and Software Engineers to review software implementation compliance.
  • Lead root cause analysis for subsystem-related issues and translate solutions into new or revised requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and independent judgment skills.
  • Experience with propulsion system torque controls.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools like Doors, DNG, Markdown.
  • Knowledge of simulation environments for testing and requirements generation.
  • Familiarity with safety critical systems standards (e.g., ISO-26262).
