Senior Hardware Engineer- Propulsion Controller

What you'll do

• Design propulsion controller electrical hardware from concept to production launch.
• Develop and validate requirements for hardware components, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Execute bring-up and debug of hardware designs, including power supplies and network devices.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure successful product build and production launch.
• Perform detailed hardware analysis, including worst case, thermal, signal integrity, and power integrity.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware design, focusing on propulsion controller hardware and automotive electronics.
• Strong proficiency in circuit design, schematic creation, PCB layout, signal integrity, power integrity, and power management.
• Proven ability to launch build-to-print hardware into production successfully.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive industry standards (ISO 26262, ASIL) and safety-critical design principles.
• Experience with system-level integration, including interfacing with sensors, processors, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of requirements engineering process (FMEA, Preliminary Hazard Analyses) and verification/validation processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in controller development, including schematics, PCB layouts, EMC, and power dissipation.
