Required skills include experience in partnership management, business development, and relationship management within the payments ecosystem. The role focuses on solving challenges related to digital commerce, agentic-commerce trends, and expanding transaction growth through high-impact partnerships with technology platforms and AI companies.

What you'll do

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with big tech and AI companies to expand Paze acceptance across digital commerce.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with senior decision-makers at key technology platforms and emerging agentic-commerce participants.
  • Identify, recruit, and launch new partnership opportunities that drive transaction growth and improve product market fit.
  • Manage the full deal lifecycle including business case creation, financial analysis, negotiation, contracting, and launch coordination.
  • Coordinate complex multi-party agreements between internal teams, payment networks, issuers, and external digital partners.
  • Provide market insights to internal product and engineering teams to inform roadmap priorities and innovation strategies.
  • Analyze competitive trends and industry developments to strengthen Paze’s position within the payments ecosystem.
  • Develop repeatable partnership practices and provide subject-matter expertise to colleagues across the strategic partnerships team.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is typically required.
  • 12+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, relationship management, strategic accounts, and/or consulting is required.
  • 4+ years of experience working with big tech, fintech, and/or AI companies on financial services or payments products is required.
  • Experience managing complex strategic accounts involving multiple decision-makers, stakeholders, and workstreams is required.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with senior leaders and execute consultative, strategic selling skills is required.
  • Executive communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams are required.
  • Deep payments expertise, MBA, and experience with agentic commerce or identity services are preferred.
