Join Affirm’s Strategic Finance team as a Strategic Finance Analyst II, supporting the growth of revenue streams with large B2B merchant partners. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive business outcomes through strategic and analytical support, build financial models for forecasting and variance analysis, collaborate on ML forecasts, establish performance metrics, and deliver scalable dashboards for executive consumption. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fast-paced analytical roles, excel in Excel and SQL, and possess strong communication skills to navigate cross-functional collaborations effectively. Experience with merchant payments and B2B client relationships is a plus.
Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue for B2B merchant partners.
Establish and report top-line performance metrics to executives and company leaders.
Collaborate with ML modeling team to integrate financial forecasts with machine learning predictions.
Analyze financial data, synthesize insights, and present findings to influence strategic business decisions.
Design scalable automated dashboards for cross-departmental use and executive consumption.
What we're looking for
2+ years experience in fast-paced analytical roles (strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, analytics)
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear reports
High attention to detail with the capability to see the big picture and evaluate analyses strategically
Excellent Excel proficiency and working knowledge of SQL, Sigma, Cursor or other data visualization tools
Experience in merchant payments and providing analytical support to B2B client relationship teams
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate cross-functional collaborations effectively
