What you'll do

Develop software to enhance the reliability and performance of storage systems.
Design secure architectures and engineer infrastructure for enterprise-scale storage platforms.
Deploy, configure, and monitor open-source storage platforms in a distributed environment.
Automate continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for storage environments.
Implement observability tools for monitoring, alerting, and reporting on SLI/SLO metrics.
Lead service incidents to resolution and manage change control processes.
Draft RFC proposals and maintain technical documentation for new processes.

What we're looking for

Experience in designing distributed storage systems for reliability, scalability, security, and performant HA/DR.
Experience implementing and troubleshooting distributed systems across storage, networking, and security.
Incident management experience managing customer-facing storage systems in a 24/7 environment.
Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in Python, Swift, Go, or similar programming languages.
Experience as a storage administrator for NFS filesystem or S3 object (preferred).
Experience with container platforms like Docker or Kubernetes (preferred).
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus or Grafana (preferred).
