Software Engineer, Storage

What you'll do

• Build and optimize distributed storage systems to improve data reliability, consistency, and performance.
• Own high-leverage control-plane services with strong reliability requirements and clear customer impact.
• Develop and maintain data abstraction services for high-throughput and low-latency workloads.
• Implement and refine caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, and similar technologies.
• Operate and evolve vector search systems and future storage indexing systems.
• Design high-throughput data abstractions and smart clients for multi-petabyte, multi-million-QPS scale.
• Identify and address scalability and efficiency challenges in distributed systems.

What we're looking for

• You must be located in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Seattle, or the New York Metro Area.
• You must have 2+ years of full-time experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, distributed data infrastructure.
• You must be proficient in GoLang or Java with deep expertise in multi-threading, distributed systems, and databases.
• You must have deep expertise in NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or DynamoDB.
• You must have expertise in distributed caching systems like Redis or Memcached.
• You must have expertise in workflow/orchestration engines such as Temporal, Cadence, or Argo.
• You must have experience building and optimizing high-scale data storage systems for reliability, availability, and performance.
