As a Storage Infrastructure - ASE, you will join the Storage Platforms organization to develop the systems that store, protect, and serve data at massive scale. You will be responsible for designing storage device-optimized low-level storage solutions from first principles, developing large-scale distributed systems with mission-critical reliability, and optimizing high-performance IO stacks for maximum availability and durability. Your daily work involves shaping product architecture as it scales while driving operational excellence across the infrastructure to ensure resilient platforms. To succeed in this role, you must possess experience building storage systems and proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, C++, Java, or C#, along with scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl. You will apply core computer science concepts like data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and distributed systems fundamentals to solve complex technical problems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
3 years of professional software development experience.
Experience building storage systems.
At least 2 years of coding experience in Rust, C++, Java, or C#.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
Deep understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
Solid grasp of distributed systems fundamentals like fault tolerance, consistency, and distributed rate limiting.
Proficiency with UNIX/Linux and knowledge of software testing methodologies.
