As a Staff Technical Program Manager for the AI Training Program at our autonomous driving platform, you will lead the strategic development and execution of large-scale data, tooling, and training pipelines that power next-generation autonomy models. Your day-to-day responsibilities include setting clear objectives and key results (OKRs), aligning cross-functional teams such as AI/ML, infrastructure, validation, and product to prioritize roadmap tradeoffs, and translating complex systems challenges into actionable plans with success metrics. You will drive the design of scalable training pipelines, manage risks and dependencies proactively, and establish operational excellence through repeatable processes and governance. The role requires expertise in AI/ML systems, distributed training frameworks like PyTorch, data pipeline ecosystems such as Spark and Airflow, and cloud or high-performance compute environments including GPU-based infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the AI Training Program, driving measurable improvements in model velocity.
  • Translate complex systems challenges into actionable plans with clear ownership and success metrics.
  • Drive design and evolution of scalable training pipelines for rapidly growing datasets and compute demands.
  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies to maintain program stability in a fast-moving environment.
  • Establish repeatable processes and governance to improve execution efficiency and predictability.
  • Define and track KPIs such as training cycle time, system utilization, and model throughput.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management for large, complex initiatives.
  • 5+ years working with AI/ML systems, model training pipelines, or distributed compute environments.
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software systems, with engineering team collaboration experience.
  • Experience delivering large-scale AI/ML infrastructure involving data pipelines, compute, and tooling.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
