The Staff Systems Analyst joins the Global Design and R&D IT team to support the design and research of production and concept vehicles. This role serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technology partners, translating complex needs into scalable digital solutions for vehicle design, engineering, and research. You will lead discovery sessions, gather requirements, and manage the full solution lifecycle, including planning, testing, and change management. Key responsibilities include analyzing workflows, managing data flows, and driving automation across a diverse portfolio of applications. Required technical skills include experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, alongside familiarity with Angular, React, Python, Docker, K8s, Databricks, Kafka, Quarkus, and PostgresSQL. You will utilize Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies to deliver high-value technology roadmaps.
Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering to understand strategic objectives and operational challenges.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and technology roadmaps.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences.
Support the full solution lifecycle including planning, design, testing, implementation, and change management.
Identify process improvement opportunities to drive simplification, standardization, and automation.
Analyze business workflows, systems integrations, and data flows to improve operational efficiency.
Support Agile product delivery practices including backlog management, sprint planning, and release activities.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in business systems analysis, product delivery, digital transformation, software development, or related technology disciplines.
Experience designing and supporting enterprise infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and supporting/integrating custom or internal applications.
Familiarity with modern application stacks including Angular, React, and Python-based internal applications.
Experience with Docker, K8s, Databricks, Kafka, Quarkus, PostgresSQL, and FastAPI.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other modern delivery methodologies.
Experience supporting automotive design, engineering, research, simulation, visualization, manufacturing, or product development organizations (preferred).
