Staff Software Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Leads programs by integrating various disciplines and team members to achieve strategic goals.
• Drives standardized engineering methods to enhance design rigor and cross-functional alignment.
• Converts high-level product requirements into detailed software specifications for development teams.
• Enforces best practices for requirements traceability, validation, and compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Innovates within program work to solve technical challenges and develop intellectual property.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on designated systems, providing guidance on customer needs and clinical applications.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in designing, developing, and testing complex software systems for medical devices.
• Ability to translate customer and stakeholder requirements into detailed specifications.
• Expert knowledge of designated systems and ability to serve as a subject matter expert.
• Compliance with FDA regulations and other regulatory standards.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and senior management.
