What you'll do

Assess software gaps between customer expectations and existing products to classify requirements.
Create user stories and translate customer requirements into comprehensive test strategies.
Design detailed software designs using mock screens, pseudo codes, and functional logic from high-level designs.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and monitor application health by analyzing logs and metrics.
Perform corrective, adaptive, and perfective engineering activities to maintain software applications.
Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks in CI/CD pipelines and testing processes.
Track and analyze defects to perform regression testing and prevent recurrence of similar issues.
Select appropriate frameworks, platforms, and tools for software coding, configuration, and scripting.

What we're looking for

Master's degree in computer science or related field and 2 years of software engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4 years of software engineering experience.
Experience with programming languages including Scala and Python.
Experience writing advanced SQL queries and understanding of relational databases.
Experience using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to build executive dashboards.
Experience building pipelines using tools including Alteryx, Apache Airflow, and Jenkins.
Experience working with big data systems including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Presto.
Experience building machine learning models in R and Python.
