What you'll do

Design and implement scalable and reliable network solutions for various teams.
Maintain a highly available cloud infrastructure edge for the Okta identity platform.
Collect and analyze data to identify root causes for network-specific events.
Automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Introduce system changes to improve efficiency, scalability, and development velocity.
Navigate Federal and DoD compliance frameworks including FedRAMP and Impact Level 6.
Troubleshoot network issues using VPC flow logs, Cloudwatch metrics, and packet captures.

What we're looking for

Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance with a full scope poly.
Proven experience navigating Federal and DoD compliance frameworks, specifically FedRAMP and Impact Level 6 (IL6).
8+ years of experience in a Cloud Network Engineer role or related.
In-depth understanding of the TCP/IP networking stack (layers 2 through 7) and implementing highly available VPC networks.
Deep knowledge of AWS network concepts including Transit Gateway, Site-to-Site VPN, and Direct Connect.
Solid understanding and experience with Apache httpd, nginx, Apache Tomcat, or similar.
Experience working with Terraform and git.
Proficiency in Bash, Python, Golang, or similar (preferred).
