What you'll do

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies for energetics to improve cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP process and manage strategic sourcing for all energetics components.
  • Manage business relationships with Contract Manufacturers to ensure continuity of supply and risk management.
  • Perform detailed TCO analysis on quote submissions to make data-driven procurement decisions.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, delivery, and service terms.
  • Partner with engineering teams to influence technical design specifications and manufacturing requirements.
  • Oversee supplier performance metrics including delivery, quality, cost, and innovation.
  • Provide technical direction and conduct regular technology reviews for executive leadership.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of energetics/missiles manufacturing or sourcing engineering.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
  • Preferred degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in TCO analysis for data-driven component and supplier selection.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
