SoFi seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the expansion and maturation of its Enterprise Architecture practice, focusing on strategic planning, architecture design, governance, and stakeholder collaboration. This hands-on role involves enhancing long-term technology roadmaps, evaluating systems for modernization, and integrating emerging technologies like AI while ensuring financial rigor in decision-making. The architect will establish rigorous standards, enforce governance policies, and guide the evolution of data platforms and application portfolios. Key responsibilities include overseeing service-oriented architecture, microservices patterns, and cloud capabilities (preferably AWS), as well as mentoring technical talent across multiple engineering teams. Ideal candidates possess 10+ years of experience in business, applications, data, and technology domains, with expertise in TOGAF, SOA, REST APIs, and CI/CD-driven automation.

Act as a bridge between business strategy and technical implementation, translating complex trade-offs into business terms for executives.
What we're looking for
10+ years of broad experience across business, application, data, and technology architecture domains.
Proven track record in owning or significantly enhancing an organization’s enterprise technology design and strategy.
Expertise in Business Architecture with knowledge of corporate processes like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire, Security, and GRC.
Deep understanding of SOA, microservices, REST APIs, and experience building scalable global solutions.
Proficiency in master data management, data warehousing, big data streaming/ETL patterns, and infrastructure awareness with IaaS (AWS), IaC, CI/CD automation.
Demonstrable knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, ISO, ITIL, or Agile/SaFE.
