As a Staff Integration Engineer at GTMTech, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade integrations using Workato and modern API management patterns across critical business processes such as Quote-to-Cash. Your daily tasks include defining integration standards, mentoring other engineers, and ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and observable. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in how we connect systems and data. The role requires expertise in Workato, event-driven architectures, messaging technologies like Kafka, RESTful APIs, OAuth2, JWT, and scripting languages such as Python or Ruby. This position is crucial for enhancing company efficiency, boosting profitability, and enabling data-driven decision-making through automation and AI.
Lead the architecture and implementation of Workato-based integrations for GTM systems.
Define and evolve integration standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
Design complex event-driven workflows using Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms.
Drive API-first design for GTM integrations, ensuring robust authentication and authorization.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, recommending scalable solutions.
Mentor other integration engineers, providing leadership in Workato concepts and API design.
What we're looking for
At least 10 years of enterprise integration experience with significant time in lead/architect roles.
Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-grade Workato-based integrations at scale.
Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies like Kafka, including topics, producers/consumers, durability, and retry strategies.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python or Ruby) for advanced transformations and custom logic in integration solutions.
Proven ability to define and enforce integration standards, patterns, and non-functional requirements across teams.
Excellent system design capabilities with a focus on scalability, performance, and mapping complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Demonstrated experience mentoring teammates, leading design reviews, and influencing stakeholders through clear communication.
