What you'll do

Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support for mission-critical network infrastructure.
Design, build, and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.
Administer systems based on Linux and Windows operating systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking systems for cloud and hybrid environments.
Automate system deployment and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools.
Provide onsite engineering and administrative support for developers and testers.
Produce technical documentation and diagrams of all performed work.
Collect and analyze data to support network performance and security.

What we're looking for

Must be a US citizen.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a current Polygraph.
Must have 12 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 10 years with a Master’s, 8 years with a PhD, or 16 years without a degree.
Must have IAT-2 Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
Must have experience designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based solutions.
Must have experience with architecture, maintenance, and administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems in large enterprise environments.
Must have experience automating tasks using tools such as Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python.
Must have proven experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment, and Administration.
Cloud service certification (preferred).
Experience with one or more programming languages (preferred).
Extensive experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs, and VPNs (preferred).
Recent roles in Technical or Team Leadership positions (preferred).
Knowledge of cloud database management, cybersecurity in the cloud, and Agile Development (preferred).
Experience managing and manipulating containers such as PODMAN, DOCKER, or KUBERNETES (preferred).
