What you'll do

  • Architect systems to autonomously manage the lifecycle of paid campaigns including creative generation, bidding, and budget optimization.
  • Set technical direction for the agentic Growth Engine across Google, Meta, and other advertising platforms.
  • Write and review high-quality code while establishing engineering standards for system health and availability.
  • Translate marketing objectives into platform capabilities by partnering with Product and Design teams.
  • Define human-in-the-loop controls to ensure autonomous campaigns remain safe and on-brand.
  • Advance the AI roadmap from assisted to autonomous systems through experimentation and staged rollouts.
  • Collaborate with ML/AI and data teams to integrate models and signals into campaign optimization.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to improve team performance and engineering standards.

What we're looking for

  • 9+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading project teams, setting technical direction, and mentoring engineers.
  • Proven experience defining product and technical strategy while driving alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to drive initiatives across different teams and departments.
  • Passion for ensuring system availability, technical quality, and high engineering standards.
  • Experience working with paid advertising platforms like Meta or Google is a plus.
