What you'll do

Drive operational excellence for distributed systems on AWS to maintain 5-9’s of availability.
Architect highly available, secure, and performant cloud-native data systems at multi-million-user scale.
Design and ship AI-powered tools to auto-detect, triage, and remediate system issues.
Lead incident response and production support as part of an on-call rotation.
Champion resiliency practices including FMEA, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery runbooks.
Implement best-in-class monitoring and observability techniques to reduce MTTD and MTTR.
Automate manual steps in standard operating procedures to reduce developer toil.
Lead complex, cross-team initiatives by sequencing dependencies and managing risk.

What we're looking for

8+ years of hands-on development and operational experience building and maintaining infrastructure in AWS.
Deep expertise in at least one SRE discipline such as automation, monitoring, DevOps, or cloud operations.
Deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise including high-availability architectures, DR strategies, Docker, and ArgoCD.
Proficiency in a modern programming/scripting language such as Go, Java, Python, or Ruby.
Extensive observability and performance experience using tools like Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, or distributed tracing.
Strong grasp of SSDLC and CI/CD pipelines with the judgment to build and evolve them safely at scale.
Proven technical leadership with a track record of driving initiatives independently and providing data-backed evidence of impact.
Sharp production diagnostic skills with a demonstrated ability to resolve pre-production and production issues under pressure.
