You will build reusable pipelines while managing complex optimization techniques like combinatorial, gradient-based, and Bayesian methods for customer-facing applications.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end model architectures.
  • Align technical model metrics with specific business goals and success criteria.
  • Perform hands-on data analysis, ETL, and feature engineering on large datasets.
  • Apply NLP, deep learning, and recommender systems to solve real-world problems.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to communicate impact and recommendations to leadership.
  • Evaluate new machine learning techniques for integration into customer-facing applications.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to other AI Scientists on the team.

What we're looking for

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of industry experience in AI Science or Machine Learning (Masters + 5 years or PhD + 3 years).
  • Strong experience with optimization techniques, NLP, and Explainable AI.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, and/or R.
  • Strong SQL, Hive, SparkSQL skills and comfort working in Linux environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reusable, end-to-end ML pipelines.
  • Tech lead scope with experience in model scalability and technical leadership.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex technical work for both technical and non-technical audiences.
