What you'll do

Use Python to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.

Write and document procedures for development, deployment, and maintenance.
Guide junior team members through design reviews and code reviews.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience is required.
A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of experience is accepted as an alternative.
Experience with Java/J2EE and Python for data engineering and application development is required.
Experience developing scalable, distributed, multi-threaded applications for real-time streaming using Apache Kafka is required.
Proficiency in full stack development including Angular, Node, and front-end or mobile capabilities is required.
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and NoSQL is required.
Experience with automated testing and continuous delivery of platform components is required.
Ability to mentor junior team members through design reviews and code reviews is required.
