  • Write production code, documentation, and perform peer code reviews.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in design and development of distributed systems using technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, and Iceberg.
  • Proficiency in Java or Scala.
  • Proficiency in Apache Iceberg and Iceberg Rest Catalog specification.
  • Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable, reliable APIs.
  • Skilled at debugging complex issues in large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, S3, EKS, and IAM (preferred).
  • Contributions to open source projects such as Spark or Iceberg (preferred).
