What you'll do

Build distributed data systems for large-scale data processing and analytics.
Develop LLM-powered applications and intelligent agents to automate routine work.
Curate and evolve rich datasets regarding iCloud products and platform interactions.
Design scalable backend services and data pipelines to meet business needs.
Ensure all data systems and solutions comply with privacy and security standards.
Write clean, efficient code to maintain and improve software engineering standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data frameworks that drive business results.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience building large-scale data pipelines with Spark and other distributed data technologies like Hadoop, Presto, Flink, or Druid.
Highly proficient in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala with strong SQL skills.
Deep expertise in data principles, data architecture, and data modeling.
Solid grasp of the data lifecycle, including lineage, governance, privacy, retention, and anonymity.
Hands-on experience working with LLMs and developing AI agents.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience in data engineering.
Experience designing and building LLM-powered applications and intelligent agents at scale (preferred).
Experience in a complex, matrixed organization on cross-functional or cross-business projects (preferred).
