Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Content Quality

What you'll do

• Develop the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for content quality systems at scale.
• Architect processes to capture signals regarding content quality and trust across the platform.
• Drive safety alignment for Generative AI and Conversational use cases including Vision Language Models (VLMs).
• Collaborate with downstream teams to align on use cases and integrate signals into ranking systems and workflows.
• Partner with ML engineers to translate ideas into production-ready features from design through deployment.
• Foster a technical community of Content Quality engineers to share best practices and direction.
• Manage the full signal lifecycle, including modeling, evaluation, and large-scale implementation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience driving technical strategy at an organizational level.
• Expertise in content modeling at consumer internet scale.
• Strong machine learning knowledge and expertise.
• Experience with machine learning deployment at scale.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with partner engineering teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with measurement and scalability.
• Experience using GenAI for scaling ML development.
