Sr. Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Content Quality

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a technical strategy for content quality at Pinterest.
• Architect processes for building signals that capture trust and safety aspects of content.
• Drive the alignment and adoption of GenAI and Conversational use cases across teams.
• Collaborate with downstream teams to integrate signals into models, ranking systems, and workflows.
• Translate ideas into production-ready machine learning signals in partnership with ML engineers.

What we're looking for

• Extensive hands-on machine learning background including content modeling and signal lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to drive technical strategy at an organizational level for ML initiatives.
• Expertise in architecting and implementing scalable big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with partner engineering teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of machine learning deployment at scale, including GenAI applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
