The Sr Staff Application Engineer - AI Enablement oversees the mapping of data sources, movement, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality within PLM systems. This role leads technical engagements, analyzes enterprise tool designs, and develops roadmaps for PLM and MDM platforms. You will build service-oriented data delivery platforms with reusable components and develop proof of concepts using emerging technologies and hardened design patterns. Key responsibilities include mentoring others, evaluating vendor solutions, and aligning projects with business goals. The position requires expertise in Oracle, ALM, PLM, Microservices, SOA, Big Data systems like Hadoop, Enterprise Search tools such as Elastic Search or Solr, Cloud Technologies, and DevOps. You will solve complex data problems regarding systems integration and product structure while enforcing validation mechanisms for data accuracy.
Oversee the mapping of data sources, movement, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality within PLM systems.
Lead and coordinate technical and business discussions regarding future design directions across multiple product lines.
Analyze enterprise tool designs to develop roadmaps and implementation plans for PLM and MDM platforms.
Contribute to the development of service-oriented software and data delivery platforms with reusable components.
Build proofs of concept using emerging technologies and hardened design patterns for enterprise-class applications.
Enforce methods and validation mechanisms to ensure data quality and accuracy at the point of entry.
Manage vendor evaluations within the PLM functional space and maintain ongoing relationship management.
Partner with business leaders to align projects with goals and recommend budget allocations for critical initiatives.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 8 years, or a High School Diploma with 10 years.
Must have at least 5 years of professional experience in Application Engineering.
Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) to access export-controlled information.
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Must have experience working with enterprise platforms around ALM and PLM.
Must have experience with Microservices, SOA, Big Data systems (Hadoop), Enterprise Search tools (Elastic Search, Solr), Cloud Technologies, and DevOps.
Must have in-depth domain knowledge in two or more specialized design areas such as Oracle, ALM, or PLM.
Authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
