Senior Software Engineer, G&A Solutions Engineering

What you'll do

• Design and code modular, domain-driven microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and scale distributed event streams and microservices to handle high-concurrency enterprise workloads.
• Create APIs with strong contracts and clear versioning for seamless consumption by multiple teams.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and privacy across high-stakes domains like payroll and benefits.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues and optimize high-volume batch and real-time processing pipelines.
• Define and maintain system reliability through SLOs, observability, incident response, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish testing strategies for robust software solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to increase the team's overall technical capacity.

What we're looking for

• A B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of proven experience developing software in a professional capacity are required.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java, including concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization, is required.
• Proficiency in OOP principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns for maintainable backend code is required.
• Experience building production applications using the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Data, Cloud) and WebFlux is required.
• Experience designing high-scale, fault-tolerant cloud-based distributed systems and implementing RESTful APIs, gRPC, or GraphQL is required.
• Experience with distributed data orchestration and computing systems like Airflow, Spark, or Flink is required.
• Experience in leadership, GenAI tools, ML infrastructure, event-driven architectures, or caching strategies is preferred.
