Sr. Software Engineer - CTJ - Secret joins the Microsoft 365 Substrate First Mile Networking team to design and implement scalable networking solutions for the Substrate and COSMIC platforms. What we're looking for

Must possess an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to pass a Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
Must provide verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions for government agency support.
Knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and service mesh architectures is preferred.
Experience with network security technologies like firewalls, DDoS mitigation tools, and proxies is preferred.
Expertise in Linux networking, container networking (e.g., Cilium), cloud platforms (Azure), and microservices is preferred.
