What you'll do

Architect and lead the development of highly available, concurrent distributed systems for backend services.
Define and enforce standards for high-performance APIs, caching strategies, and complex data modeling in relational and NoSQL environments.
Design and implement comprehensive MLOps pipelines including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and LLM integration.
Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka to manage real-time data streaming.
Monitor production environments to identify systemic risks and drive continuous infrastructure improvements.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to elevate overall team coding standards.
Translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical roadmaps and scalable engineering solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with related experience or Master's degree with related experience.
Experience in Python development and at least one other language such as Golang or TypeScript.
Experience with modern backend frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or similar.
Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience designing production-grade APIs, data pipelines, and using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
Experience with MLOps tools, model monitoring, and integrating LLMs/generative AI solutions (preferred).
Experience with Apache Kafka, real-time compute frameworks, and high-performance data modeling (preferred).
Cisco Networking knowledge is a strong plus.
