What you'll do

Design and own the architectural direction of Pop DataPlane traffic processing systems for scalability, performance, and security.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and operational dashboards to ensure system reliability.
Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews to drive a culture of high-quality engineering.
Participate in on-call rotations to maintain services connecting customers to the LEO network.
Translate customer connectivity requirements into technical designs for traffic flow processing.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
