What you'll do

Develop high data rate packet processing systems using network layer packet processing and Software Defined Networking.
Build and maintain foundational software for secure satellite communications for U.S. Government customers.
Develop new software services for mission-critical space safety and sustainability applications.
Design and demonstrate software interfaces and architectures within simulated test environments.
Lead internal and vendor teams to deliver on specific software and interface requirements.
Ensure systems meet strict government requirements for availability, reliability, upgradeability, interoperability, and security.
Communicate project health, risks, and issues to stakeholders while driving urgent issues to closure.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Rust.
Experience in network layer packet processing and Software Defined Networking.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
