As a Senior Service Engineer on the Microsoft 365 Sovereign Clouds team, you will take ownership of deploying and monitoring M365 services in highly secure environments, focusing on operational excellence and compliance. Your daily tasks include incident response during on-call rotations, developing automation scripts to enhance telemetry data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service reliability and performance. You’ll leverage advanced technical skills to resolve complex issues, conduct root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires expertise in Azure or similar hyperscale cloud technologies, a strong background in system management, and the ability to work effectively in large-scale distributed environments. With a focus on security and compliance, you will ensure that Microsoft’s sovereign cloud offerings meet the highest standards of operational excellence for government and enterprise customers.
Responds to complex incidents during on-call rotations and implements automations for prevention.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and 4+ years of experience in software, network, service, systems engineering.
Hands-on experience supporting complex IT environments with reliability, security, and compliance focus.
Recent experience with Azure or equivalent hyperscale cloud technologies.
Ability to build consensus and influence across teams for common goals achievement.
Active U.S. government clearance required due to job security requirements.
