As a Sr. Security Engineer - Federal Customer, you will join a diverse team of DevOps Engineers to design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure for next-generation IT workloads. You will focus on automating security practices, performing high-quality assessments of network and platform components, and mitigating risks to meet critical compliance baselines. Your daily work involves troubleshooting network routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues across Linux systems, Windows, Cisco IOS, and Palo Alto firewalls. What we're looking for
Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
15+ years of relevant experience are required.
A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience with ATO process, NIST SP 800-53, Cyber Security and Risk Management Frameworks, Nessus, and log/event aggregation tools (Splunk/Wazuh/SysLog) is required.
Knowledge of network topologies and architectures (VLAN, LAN, WAN) is required.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot operating systems including Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS, and Palo Alto is required.
Experience managing firewall rule sets and knowledge of protocol analysis tools like Wireshark and tcpdump are required.
Proficiency in Python or Go and experience with RESTful APIs for automation are preferred.
