The candidate will also perform functional and physical audits and generate metrics to track configuration health. Required skills include experience with PLM/PPM tools, version control systems, and issue tracking tools like Teamcenter, JIRA, or Git. Preferred technical skills include scripting in Python or PowerShell, knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, and experience supporting airborne ISR mission systems.

What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain configuration management baselines for systems, subsystems, software, and documentation.
  • Implement and administer CM processes, tools, and repositories to control changes to technical baselines.
  • Coordinate and document Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Change Notices (ECNs) while supporting Change Control Boards.
  • Maintain configuration records including part numbers, versions, build identifiers, and lab rig configurations.
  • Prepare and execute functional and physical configuration audits while resolving any identified discrepancies.
  • Support build and release processes by generating and reviewing release notes and configuration manifests.
  • Generate CM metrics, reports, and dashboards to track configuration health and compliance.
  • Ensure all configuration management practices comply with program, sector, and customer requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's and 6 years, or a PhD and 4 years.
  • Must have an active US Government Secret or higher clearance with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years.
  • Must have experience in configuration management, data management, or a closely related role supporting technical programs.
  • Must have experience with Configuration Management tools and repositories such as PLM/PPM tools, version control systems, or document control systems.
  • Experience managing configurations for integration labs, test rigs, or deployed systems (preferred).
  • Hands-on use of CM and issue tracking tools like Teamcenter, JIRA, or Git (preferred).
  • Experience using scripting or automation such as Excel macros, Python, or PowerShell to streamline tasks (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of common operating systems like Windows and Linux in the context of builds and configuration tracking (preferred).
