Sr Mechatronics Verification and Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Leads system and subsystem verification activities for complex electromechanical systems.
• Develops test plans and protocols, identifying resource requirements for various tests.
• Designs or refines electromechanical fixtures using SolidWorks and software like MATLAB.
• Executes V&V tests, prepares reports, and manages documentation processes rigorously.
• Analyzes test results, applying statistical methods to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Manages issues and performs root cause analysis to resolve defects in hardware testing.
• Performs fixture qualification and validates test methods for compliance with standards.

What we're looking for

• At least 7 years of electromechanical R&D engineering experience in medical devices or similar regulated industries required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or related field is mandatory.
• Proven proficiency in developing test methods and protocols, executing tests, and releasing documentation.
• Experience in fixture qualification, process validation, and using statistical tools like Minitab, MATLAB.
• Hands-on experience with assembly, integration, and testing of complex electro-mechanical systems required.
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred) and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink are essential; LabVIEW is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical device regulatory standards such as FDA 21CFR 820, ISO 13485, IEC 60601, etc. required.
