Senior Manager, Machine Learning Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead and grow a distributed team focused on training data for Generative AI.
• Define and execute strategies for acquiring, processing, curating, and annotating large-scale datasets.
• Build and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines across the entire training data lifecycle.
• Champion data diversity, bias mitigation, and ethical AI practices for Adobe Firefly models.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and methodologies to improve infrastructure and workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and influence model development through insights on data quality.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align data priorities and share best practices.

What we're looking for

• Master’s or Ph.D. in CS, Data Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership and managing data infrastructure or ML data operations teams.
• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience building and optimizing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing.
• Deep understanding of ML data lifecycles, specifically for generative models like GANs and diffusion models, is required.
• Proficiency with cloud data technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake is required.
• Expertise in data quality, governance, versioning, and annotation platforms is required.
• Strong grasp of data privacy, security, and ethical AI principles is required.
• Experience with large-scale image or video datasets and multimedia content ecosystems is preferred.
