What you'll do

  • Manage key strategic ecosystem partnerships to achieve AMD’s business and technology strategy objectives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for power and thermal ecosystem partners to evangelize AMD data center technologies.
  • Align product roadmaps with partners to identify synergies, disconnects, and emerging opportunities.
  • Translate customer requirements and market signals into clear product strategies for networking and storage systems.
  • Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives including long-term technology planning and portfolio prioritization.
  • Engage with hyperscalers and cloud providers to inform product direction and align solutions with infrastructure needs.
  • Evaluate and guide trade-offs across performance, power, cost, scalability, and time-to-market.
  • Develop and execute internal strategies for engagement with industry standards organizations.

What we're looking for

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong experience in the computing industry at the OEM, ODM, or CSP level (preferred).
  • Background in power and thermal system architecture and solutions for large-scale data center systems (preferred).
  • Background in optics, network connectivity, and experience with IEEE, SNIA, or OCP standards bodies (preferred).
  • Expertise in enabling and deploying industry standards and semiconductor business practices (preferred).
  • Substantial experience in customer-facing roles, specifically with AI players or CSPs (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AI workloads, software stacks, and architecture-driven product management (preferred).
  • Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences (preferred).
