Sr. Manager- Data Analytics joins a team focused on data-driven decision-making within the financial services industry. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to validate business-impacting analytical tools while influencing broader corporate strategies. Your daily responsibilities include refining enterprise-wide validation frameworks, executing projects to assess the quality and risk of tool methodologies, and researching best practices for emerging technologies. You will also communicate findings through formal reports and presentations while coaching and mentoring junior staff members. The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving, conceptual thinking, and leadership skills. Required technical expertise includes experience with open source data technologies, large data sets, predictive analytics, and data governance. Candidates should have a background in quantitative fields such as statistics, economics, or computer science, along with experience developing and validating statistical or econometric models to solve complex business problems.
Refine an enterprise-wide framework for validating analytical tools.
Plan and execute validation projects across the organization.
Assess the quality, risk, and methodology of analytical tool usage.
Identify and prototype industry best practices for emerging analytical tools.
Communicate technical results through written reports and verbal presentations.
Coach and mentor junior staff members.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with at least 7 years of data analytics experience, or a Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
At least 5 years of experience performing professional data analysis work.
At least 5 years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
At least 2 years of experience managing people.
Master’s Degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field (preferred).
At least 7 years of experience in statistical or econometrics hands-on work (preferred).
At least 5 years of experience manipulating and performing analysis with large data sets (preferred).
Experience in financial services, validating models, data governance, or predictive analytics (preferred).
