JOB TITLE: Sr. Engineer, Technical
The Sr. Engineer, Technical joins the engineering team to enhance and support the Oracle ERP Financials landscape. This role focuses on the General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, allocations, ledgers, and chart-of-accounts design. The engineer will design, configure, and support financial modules while developing integrations between Oracle ERP, subledgers, and Oracle EPM modules like ARCS, FCCS, and EPRCS. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex production issues, implementing automation, and ensuring data quality across financial systems. The position requires proficiency in Oracle ERP Financials, integration engineering using APIs, OIC, and batch processing, as well as software development and technical writing. The role solves critical business problems by ensuring the accuracy, stability, and auditability of financial processing, period-close processes, and subledger-to-GL tie-outs for the enterprise.
Design, configure, and support Oracle ERP Financials modules including General Ledger and Subledger Accounting.
Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle ERP, subledgers, and EPM modules like ARCS and FCCS.
Translate business requirements into technical configurations, automations, and production support solutions.
Support journal processing, chart-of-accounts design, and period-close processes for Finance and Accounting teams.
Analyze production issues to implement root-cause fixes, monitoring, and process improvements.
Create functional and technical documentation including requirements, design documents, and test evidence.
Mentor engineers through collaboration and review of technical deliverables.
What we're looking for
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or equivalent experience.
4-7 years of technical engineering experience with Oracle ERP Financials, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, allocations, and chart-of-accounts design.
Working knowledge of Oracle General Ledger, journal flows, subledger close, and period-close processes.
Ability to design and support ERP integrations with Oracle EPM modules (ARCS, FCCS, EPRCS) using APIs, OIC, or batch processing.
Proficiency in programming languages, software design, software development, and technical writing.
