Sr. Engineer, Cybersecurity - Threat Response Strategic Execution joins the Threat Response organization to strengthen how Security Operations Center and Incident Response teams detect, investigate, and contain cyber threats. This role applies cybersecurity engineering judgment to deliver initiatives by sequencing technical work, identifying risks or blockers, and ensuring remediation reaches completion. The individual will manage the threat response roadmap, monitor technical readiness across people and processes, and collaborate with various IT and business teams to align on goals. Key competencies include security automation, incident management, and technical communication. The role requires expertise in cybersecurity engineering, artificial intelligence, and security technologies. Preferred experience includes working with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms alongside detection engineering practices. This position focuses on the proactive identification of technical risks to protect company systems and data from evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Drive the delivery of advanced security strategies, tools, and technologies across the Threat Response organization.
Track the technical execution of SOC and Incident Response initiatives through to completion.
Identify technical risks, blockers, and dependencies to proactively implement mitigation measures for company data.
Maintain the Threat Response roadmap by monitoring readiness across people, processes, and technology commitments.
Apply cybersecurity engineering judgment to sequence technical work and communicate progress on defense capabilities.
Manage the deployment of security improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology plus 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred: 4-7 years of experience with security related software and/or business process design.
Preferred: 4-7 years of experience in technical project management and leading multi-functional solution design teams.
Preferred: 4-7 years of experience in SOC or IR functions, including knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR platforms, and detection engineering.
Must possess skills in cybersecurity, security automation, security engineering, and incident management.
Must have expertise in artificial intelligence, stakeholder management, and technical communication.
Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
