What you'll do

Architect and build scalable microservices and platform components that process millions of events per second.
Develop reusable platform libraries to accelerate development across multiple engineering teams.
Conduct thorough code and design reviews focusing on security, scalability, and testability.
Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
Design and implement comprehensive tests focused on reliability, accuracy, and performance.
Mentor team members on secure coding practices, testing methodologies, and cloud-native development.
Integrate new services seamlessly into the existing CrowdStrike ecosystem of APIs and tools.

What we're looking for

10+ years of software development experience in building enterprise-grade products.
5+ years of experience developing microservices in cloud-native environments.
Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
Expertise in at least one cloud-native programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows.
Deep understanding of cloud architectures, web services (REST, gRPC), and data storage systems like PostgreSQL or Redis.
Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes and deployment in AWS, OCI, GCP, or Azure.
Experience in cybersecurity companies or security-focused products (preferred); experience with real-time data processing systems (preferred).
