What you'll do

  • Perform secure design reviews and threat modeling for product and platform teams.
  • Engineer automated security testing at scale including SAST, DAST, SCA, and secret scanning.
  • Integrate security scanning and policy-as-code guardrails into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Architect secure-by-design patterns and paved roads for product teams to adopt.
  • Manage software supply chain risks through SBOM and OSS-risk processes.
  • Oversee VDP and bug-bounty intake workflows.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.

What we're looking for

  • 9+ years of experience in application/product security or security-focused software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience embedding security into the SDLC through secure design review, threat modeling, code review, and security testing.
  • Experience with application security tooling like Snyk, Veracode, Checkmarx, Semgrep, or GitHub Advanced Security integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working independently with product engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and adopt secure-by-design patterns.
  • Ability to travel around 15% overnight within territory or other Danaher locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud-native/Kubernetes security, API security, or software supply chain/SBOM (preferred).
  • CSSLP, GWAPT, GWEB, OSWE, OSCP, or a cloud security certification (preferred).
