Senior Embedded Engineer, Vehicle Diagnostics and Monitoring

What you'll do

• Design and implement fault detection, DTC handling, UDS/DoIP services, and watchdog supervision for MCU and Linux platforms.
• Build a vehicle health monitoring pipeline to collect and store metrics, logs, and fault events from the fleet.
• Use eBPF and kernel tracing to monitor Linux SoC behavior, including scheduling, network, and camera pipeline latency.
• Create Grafana dashboards and alert rules for fleet health metrics like temperature, voltage, and bus load.
• Commission and integrate compute, MCU, and sensor stacks into vehicles, validating gPTP and PPS timing.
• Root-cause vehicle issues using monitoring data and convert findings into automated regression tests.
• Contribute to safety analyses and implement secure diagnostic access with authenticated sessions.
• Define diagnostic interfaces and readouts for use by manufacturing end-of-line test stations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience developing embedded software in C/C++ on an RTOS, embedded Linux, or bare metal.
• Hands-on experience with UDS (ISO 14229), DTC handling, and ISO-TP over CAN.
• Experience with CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, Vector CANoe, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Hands-on experience debugging embedded Linux system-level issues using eBPF-based tools and profilers.
• Experience building monitoring systems for devices or fleets using Prometheus, Grafana, Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience taking embedded systems from prototype to production in autonomous vehicle, robotics, or mission-critical automotive domains.
• Experience with DoIP (ISO 13400) is a plus (preferred).
