Senior Director, Finance

What you'll do

• Serve as the principal financial advisor to leadership regarding strategic planning, risk management, and long-term financial success.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of internal controls and financial policies in compliance with regulations.
• Manage the annual budgeting process, including detailed operational forecasts for all departmental activities and capital investments.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, executive dashboards, and variance analyses to track performance against goals.
• Conduct fiscal analysis and feasibility studies for new clinical programs, physician recruitment, and research initiatives.
• Monitor physician productivity, faculty compensation plans, and revenue cycles to optimize operational efficiency.
• Manage investment portfolios and ensure the safety and growth of short-term and long-term cash assets.
• Lead and mentor the departmental finance team while ensuring compliance with institutional audit standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of finance experience is required.
• At least 3 to 4 years of healthcare financial experience is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel for financial modeling and complex data management, is required.
• Ability to perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Experience in managing internal controls, audit processes, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
• Strong leadership skills to manage high-performing teams and oversee complex projects.
• Advanced communication skills to influence others and articulate strategic vision to senior leadership.
