They will also work closely with Product Management and Engineering to drive architectural direction that balances speed of delivery with long-term maintainability and cost efficiency, fostering strong partnerships across the organization to accelerate delivery and improve system reliability and scalability.

What you'll do

Lead and develop a team of Enterprise Architects to align with FreeWheel’s AdTech product domains.
Define and drive the vision for enterprise architecture, connecting business outcomes with technical direction.
Oversee creation of solution blueprints and reference architectures to improve portfolio consistency and execution quality.
Establish and manage effective architecture governance mechanisms including design reviews and standards management.
Guide architectural direction for distributed cloud-native systems across FreeWheel’s AdTech platforms.

What we're looking for

12+ years of experience in software engineering or enterprise architecture with significant leadership roles.
Proven ability to lead architectural direction for complex, high-scale distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of modern cloud-native architecture including microservices and Kubernetes.
Experience establishing architecture governance frameworks and standards across multiple teams.
Excellent leadership and communication skills for influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
