Global Head, Architecture

What you'll do

• Shape and refine technology strategy in partnership with the Head of Technology.
• Engage closely with senior engineering leaders to turn strategic ideas into real designs.
• Ensure long-term strategy aligns with near-term delivery constraints and regulatory expectations.
• Act as the engineering authority, leading through influence across multiple teams and domains.
• Design systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient in complex financial services environments.
• Coach senior engineers and architects through hands-on problem solving and practical guidance.

What we're looking for

• Over 25 years of experience in building and operating systems in tier-1 banks or similar high-availability environments.
• Proven ability to set technology strategy and architecture for complex, regulated financial platforms.
• Expertise in defining multi-year technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business outcomes and regulatory needs.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial product workflows, operational data, and controls.
• Demonstrated experience designing distributed, event-driven systems that scale, fail safely, and isolate risk.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their trade-offs in managed services, multi-region designs, and regulatory compliance.
