The Sr. Cyber Security Analyst joins the security team to create cyber-intelligence solutions designed to prevent internal or external attacks against email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems. This role involves designing and maintaining secure cloud network architectures within Google Cloud Platform using Zero Trust principles. Key responsibilities include deploying and managing GCP services like Next-Generation Firewalls, VPC Service Controls, Cloud IDS, and Cloud Armor. The candidate will automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform, manage complex state files, and develop scripts in Python, Go, or Bash for automated remediation. Collaboration with cloud architects is essential to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. Required expertise includes deep knowledge of GCP networking constructs, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines, while experience with Azure or AWS environments is considered a significant advantage for this technical security role.
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud network architectures on Google Cloud Platform using Zero Trust principles.
Deploy and manage GCP security services including Next-Generation Firewalls, VPC Service Controls, Cloud IDS, and Cloud Armor.
Automate network security infrastructure deployments and build reusable modules using Terraform.
Implement and tune logging and monitoring solutions to detect and respond to network traffic alerts.
Develop scripts in Python, Go, or Bash to automate routine security tasks and API integrations.
Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments into CI/CD pipelines using Git workflows.
Ensure all cloud configurations comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and industry regulations.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
4 years of experience in IT information security.
4 years of hands-on experience securing Google Cloud Platform environments or in related network engineering and perimeter security fields.
Expertise in GCP networking constructs including Shared VPCs, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Interconnect, and Peering.
Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage complex state files and custom provider modules.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and API integrations.
Experience with Git workflows and embedding IaC deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Network Engineer, CISSP, or equivalent certifications (preferred); multi-cloud knowledge (preferred).
