Senior Comm Systems Engineer, Wireless Systems

What you'll do

• Design and develop advanced communication payload systems for LEO satellites.
• Lead the creation of physical layer + protocol stack proof-of-concept solutions.
• Develop simulation tools focusing on modeling physical layer aspects like receiver models.
• Integrate and verify hardware and software subsystems during system integration phases.
• Use digital signal processing techniques to enhance performance in ultra-high-speed networks.

What we're looking for

• PhD or Master's degree with 5+ years of quantitative research experience in wireless communications.
• Extensive professional experience in designing and implementing wireless communication systems at the system level.
• Deep understanding of multiple access technologies including OFDMA, TDMA, CDMA.
• Experience in developing test automation scripts using Python/Perl/Matlab.
• Proficiency in software-defined radio and embedded programming with C/C++ and VHDL/Verilog.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP L1 physical layer and high-layer protocols like RLC, RRC, MAC.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team and drive innovative solutions for complex problems.
