Sr Applications Developer, EPM joins the FinTech team to lead a high-visibility project transforming headcount and workforce planning processes. This role involves spearheading the end-to-end migration of an internal management tool to Pigment’s planning module to create a more integrated and scalable ecosystem for finance partners. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust solutions, design and configure modules, and build sophisticated forecasting and reporting models. Key responsibilities include managing data integrations between Oracle Cloud, the data warehouse, and other source systems while facilitating user acceptance testing and training. The role requires expertise in Pigment or Anaplan products, advanced modeling skills including blocks, dimensions, metrics, and formulas, and a strong functional understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with Oracle EPBCS is also preferred for this specialized finance-focused technical role.
Lead the end-to-end migration from a custom workforce planning application to the Pigment platform.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions within the Pigment ecosystem.
Design and configure the Pigment workforce planning module to meet specific organizational needs.
Develop and maintain sophisticated forecasting, reporting, and planning models within Pigment.
Build and support data integrations between Oracle Cloud, internal data warehouses, and other source systems.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and conduct comprehensive training for finance partners.
Monitor market developments and EPM best practices to ensure the platform remains technologically advanced.
What we're looking for
5+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan or Pigment products and associated data integration tools.
Proven expertise in architecture design within Anaplan or Pigment, including advanced proficiency with blocks, dimensions, metrics, formulas, and permissions.
Strong functional understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, specifically regarding headcount and workforce management.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ambiguous issues independently by analyzing data and utilizing available resources.
Degree in Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical discipline.
Deep understanding of Anaplan/Pigment-specific best practices for model optimization, workspace organization, and performance tuning (preferred).
Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle migration from a legacy planning system to Anaplan/Pigment modules (preferred).
Experience with Oracle EPBCS, specifically the Workforce module (preferred).
