Senior AI/Data Science Engineer

What you'll do

• Conduct research to identify, evaluate, and validate AI, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI approaches.
• Develop algorithms and proof-of-concept solutions to assess technical feasibility and future application opportunities.
• Analyze structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Design experiments, establish evaluation criteria, and benchmark algorithm performance.
• Develop software and analytical tools to support data processing, model development, and technical investigations.
• Apply AI and computer vision methods to imaging, navigation, robotics, and image-guided procedure applications.
• Document research activities, experimental results, and technical recommendations.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field.
• Must have experience with Python and SQL.
• Must have experience developing and evaluating AI, machine learning, or statistical models.
• Must have experience in machine learning, data analysis, and algorithm development.
• Must have experience using computing frameworks, data analysis platforms, or modeling environments.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or agentic AI concepts (preferred).
