The Specialist, Test Engineer supports the design verification, characterization, and integration of automated RF test systems and subsystems. Working in a cross-functional engineering environment, the individual designs automated test systems for production testing with multi-unit capabilities and automated fault detection. Key responsibilities include developing test plans, performing RF measurements such as gain, phase noise, and spectral emissions, and troubleshooting performance issues at the board, module, and system levels. The role requires proficiency with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Candidates must utilize LabVIEW, Test Stand, Python, C++, and MATLAB to develop automated solutions. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related with 4 years experience, Graduate Degree with 2 years experience, or 8 years experience without a degree.
Secret Security Clearance required.
Experience designing automated test systems for production testing with multi-unit capabilities and automated fault detection.
Experience performing RF measurements including gain, phase noise, power output, spurious response, sensitivity, EVM, BER, and spectral emissions.
Experience operating RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
Experience developing automated test solutions using LabVIEW and Test Stand.
Experience with schematics, block diagrams, interface control documents, and test requirements (preferred).
