Specialist, Systems Engineer Control Analyst /GNC 1

What you'll do

• Design, analyze, and evaluate control algorithms for solid rocket motor throttling and actuation systems.
• Model and analyze propulsion system dynamics, including steady-state and transient performance.
• Develop dynamic models and simulations for aerospace control and controllable propulsion systems.
• Utilize MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ to perform simulations, analysis, and control development.
• Define and support requirements for system, subsystem, and component levels.
• Support ground and system test activities, including hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing.
• Prepare and present technical work products for internal reviews and customer briefings.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of technical experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, simulation, or related aerospace systems.
• Graduate Degree and minimum 6 years of technical experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, simulation, or related aerospace systems.
• Minimum 8 years of technical experience in controls, GNC, propulsion analysis, simulation, or related aerospace systems in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• Active US Secret security clearance (preferred).
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Python (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
